Dependent Training visa (subclass 407)
If your partner holds a training visa (subclass 407 visas) you can apply to join your partner as a dependent on their subclass 407 visa. Your application can be lodged onshore or offshore, depending on certain circumstances. However, if you are currently onshore and either have a no further stay condition imposed on their current visa, or you are section 48 barred, you will need to apply from offshore.
